red clay stars

Finished pressing our limited run of 100 regular stars for this year and had some left over red clay so I pressed a few red ones. They look fabulous. I can’t wait to see what my mom and sister come up with for them. I’m thinking some old style Americana would be sweet. You can see some of the regular stars peeking from under the red ones.

Americana star bowls

I was so excited I could not wait till they were glazed to show that we are beginning to do Americana this year. These are two deep star bowls that have been fired once after painting and are getting glazed and fired again. Once fired I’ll get some more photos of these and some start plates Monday when the kiln will be cool enough to open.

It is that time of the year again. We are doing our limited run of stars for 2010. We will be doing them in Americana, Snoware, Wacky and Treeline lines. Behind the stars we have some custom canisters and cookie jars with special attached shapes my Michele has started with my very first paper clay that I made.

We have more with stars and some with snowmen too.
