custom canisters, cookie jars and stars

It is that time of the year again. We are doing our limited run of stars for 2010. We will be doing them in Americana, Snoware, Wacky and Treeline lines. Behind the stars we have some custom canisters and cookie jars with special attached shapes my Michele has started with my very first paper clay that I made.

We have more with stars and some with snowmen too.

cute canisters and hearts coming out of kiln

How cute are these canisters coming out of kiln. Mom and sister painted them with one snowman on only one side of each canister so they can be turned if so desired and have only hearts showing from the front view. I have some more kiln opening photos and lots of cute items I’ll be putting in the store but I wanted to get these on and show them off first. I’ll probably put them on as individual pieces instead of a three piece set. They all have minor differences in the tops but I think they can work both ways. There are a few more of the scalloped snowman plates in those same colors too. Some cute blue medium heart plates also.

Been busy around here, however lots of the last kiln openings have been personalized special orders and I am hesitant to “spoil” any special surprises by posting the latest kiln photos.
