Getting ready for the last crazy days of 2009

With the holidays here I have not had time to post. Just been a whirlwind of emails, packing, loading kilns and the phone ringing off the hook.

However this weekend I plan on putting every single available studio item and some hidden imported stoneware gems I have recently uncovered from past years.

Wimpy post but the fun starts Saturday morning come back and check in. I’ll be posting here and both pages in the online store.

Good deeds and recognition. I have always wondered if I do a good deed and no one knows about it will it make me a better person?

Today I fixed a big ole hole in our alley.

No will know this unless I tell them. Am I doing a good deed or only looking for recognition?

*Edit – I broke down and told my neighbor, well I made it a whole day without telling anyone hehe

I broke the site but I got most of it up minus some posts and some photos. Very stressful.

I am going to do backups more often now. Thanks for your patience.

Bars on our windows equals tomatos

Unfortunately we live in a time where we need bars on our studio windows. However bars equals lots of hanging space for those weird tomato hanging planters as seen on TV.

We have tried using ground based pots but we have the cutest squirrel. I named him Rocky he loves tomatoes, cute little rascal.

So we combined the two and now hopefully we will be overwhelmed in tomatoes this year. The super market ones are getting more and more tasteless every year

I hate blurry photos

I hate blurry photos. I kept thinking my photos were crap and I kept resetting the adjustments on my camera and it never did much good.

I should have known from past experiences. Check the lens. I had a big ole smudge on there again. Second time this has happened and I still have not learned my lesson.

On the plus side I hope to have much better photos coming up.

Snow is coming – how about snow day specials

We have been wanting to do this for over a year. We get so much snow here in Colorado how cool would it be to make a snow day special every time it does snow.

Trust me it snows here a lot. It can be sunny blue skies and within one hour we can have a blizzard. How cool is that?

One of the drawbacks is the next day all the snow is melted and it is 60 degrees, and snow is melted. Ha kidding, you know that is awesome.

Anywho, whenever it snows we will be making at least 2 items in our online store a super great (snow day deal) for the day.

If we forget and it did snow here in Centenial, Colorado…email us with the item you want a special on and we will make a better price happen.
