Snowman bean pot, plates, bowls, spoon rest, footed cookie jar and chip and dips from our Snoware collection in kilns
This is my new favorite small mug I’ve been casting. This two fingered mug is great and I’m very picky about mug handles. I also have fat chubby hands but these have a nice feel to them. I think I’ll get the girls to start painting some of these and I’ll sneak a couple for myself.
Some tree and snowman plates, bowls and a bean pot from our Snoware and Treeline collections in kiln opening photos today.
I’ve been digging around in our molds looking for some new shapes and came across these cut bowl molds. Actually they are the same bowl but one is shortened to be more like our old style ice cream bowls. Our old style ice cream bowl mold we have been using for years recently wore out and I’ve been looking for a replacement. These are perfect, mom said they are not new but I’ve not seen one yet and I’ve been around for a whole decade. At first I liked the shorter one better but then I thought about how I like to mix my ice cream into a thick shake like consistency. With that in mind the full size one will be perfect as it will be like a little splash guard…Well anyways I couldn’t wait to show them off hopefully the girls will get some painted soon cause these are going to be some cuter than cute snowman ice cream bowls.
lots of snowman plates from our snoware collection in today’s kiln opening photos.
Our new site is coming along at expresslyyours.biz. It a site to show off some of the different shapes and examples of those shapes we are doing this year. It seems I’ve been working on it forever. Even though I still have a long ways to go I wanted to show it off and see what you all think.
**There are no prices as we are using it for both the public and our wholesale accounts. Feel free to email me for comments, availability or pricing.
Getting ready to get a whole lot of snowman bean pots going. So far it seems to be a popular shape so I’ve been casting as many as I can. Had to slow down a bit as it has been so humid lately here in Colorado I wanted to give the molds a chance to dry out a bit.
Some super cute bean pots mom and sis painted to the left getting ready to be glazed. Bean pot is just a handy name as these can make cute cookie jars, canisters, casseroles etc. I’m even planning on making some with holes on the bottom for drainage as I think they will make cool flower pots or planters.
More snowman plates and a swoop tray in today’s kiln opening. Some star, heart and square shapes. The hearts are a special order for our good friends up in door county. Their shop is ‘Tis the season if you happen to be in Wisconsin give them a visit.
