the weird and strange centerpiece bowl thingy

the weird and strange centerpiece bowl thingyas promised here is a photo of the “weird and strange centerpiece bowl thingy in the kiln in our last post. This started out about three years ago as a Halloween centerpiece/whimsical candy dish…or at least that was my plan. the starting item (from our slip molds) was a oval serving bowl with two added hands (from a ring or glove hand mold in our collection of slip molds) and a bowl (latte bowl mold) then all pieces were fused together with slip acts like welded joint, while they are still wet and formed into? (a work of art hehehe). When we did this I pictured a goully gory red centerpiece with the neighborhood type haunted house skinned grapes (eyeballs) and the cold spaghetti (brains) embellishments. Luckily my mom and sister had better plans and this is the result. $295.00
