Really enjoy the studio tours. How did the company get its start, and how long have you been in business?
Hi Janet, I’m so happy you enjoy the little tours, I plan to do more monthly. It started as a hobby with my mom Terry and my sister Michele about 27 years ago making Christmas ornaments. I just started about 7 years ago.
Sloan, do you have any of their first ornaments to show us? And how did making ornaments evolve into making pottery?
Before they did the ornaments Terry did a ceramic duck shaped tureen, then they did ceramic ornaments and about 80′s they started doing dinnerware. Great idea for a new photo album. I’ve found some photos from 1994 I’ll see if I can find more.
